Nassau (Cable Beach)

A few miles west of Down Town Nassau is Cable Beach, covering two and one-half miles of fabulous beach with a collection of fine hotels and resorts, an 18-hole par 72 golf course, nightlife, gourmet restaurants. All beach activities, night life, stylish shops are within easy reach of each other and some of the smaller properties and villas in the area.
On Cable Beach you will find the mega Resort of Baha Mar, featuring the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, Rosewood Baha Mar, SLS Baha Mar, the Baha Bay Waterpark, the Casino at Baha Mar, Goldwynn Resorts & Residences as well as two all-inclusive resorts Sandals Royal Bahamian and Breezes Bahamas. Public busses called jitneys are readily available for transportation to/from Downtown.
Nassau

Located approximately 10 minutes driving distance from Nassau’s International Airport, Cable Beach is so called because The Bahamas’ first submarine cable link to Florida was made from here, along its magnificent stretch of sand. Today Cable Beach has become the heart of tourist life on New Providence Island, boasting a superb choice of beachfront accommodations, a good choice of shops, restaurants, bars and banks. The Baha Mar Resort, featuring 3 World-Class high-end resorts featuring approximately 30 bars, restaurants and food trucks and the amazing 18-hole Royal Blue golf course as well as one of the largest casinos in the Caribbean.
Downtown Nassau and all its attractions are a short bus or taxi ride away.
Nightlife in Nassau happens mostly on Cable Beach within the Baha Mar Resort, although there are a number of night clubs spread over the island.
