Love Beach and the surrounding areas were once considered too far from Nassau to be a successful tourist area. Naturally it is all relative. Guests staying at any of the small quaint properties found here, are only 5-minutes, driving time from Nassau International Airport, 10-minutes from the large resorts of Cable Beach & 20-minutes’ drive from Downtown Nassau. So really you are never far from anything, and yet you are far enough away from the busy centers to feel like you are on an Out Island. In more recent times many locals have begun to appreciate the tranquility of the area earlier just considered Out West, and many large condominium units and luxury homes have been built in the area. With that has also come the need for shopping and dining experiences, which is slowly developing.
