Responsibilities,
Terms, & Conditions
Please read the following carefully.
RESERVATIONS:
All
reservations will be confirmed with a confirmation number generally within one
business day. Please refer to your confirmation / reference number for questions
and queries.
RATES:
Rates
are in US Dollars and include all applicable hotel taxes, gratuities and energy
surcharges. All hotel taxes, gratuities and energy surcharges are fees
determined by the government and are subject to change and after notice given
will have to be paid by the guest.
GROUPS:
Special
rates, payment and cancellation policies apply for group bookings. Groups are
considered as 10 rooms or more.
RESPONSIBILITY:
The
responsibility of Majestic Holidays Ltd. and/or its agents are limited. Majestic
Holidays Ltd. acts only as an agent for clients in regard to travel. Majestic
Holidays Ltd. assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or
irregularity, which may be occasional, either by reason of defect, through acts
of God, war, fire, breakdown in machinery, riots, strikes or from any causes
beyond the control of Majestic Holidays Ltd. Tour services including
transportation, lodging, flights and excursions are furnished by independent
contractors (suppliers) and do not act for or on behalf of Majestic Holidays
Ltd. The acceptance of tour arrangements is deemed to be consent to the above.
Majestic Holidays Ltd. is not reliable or responsible in any way whatsoever for
any act, error or omission or for inconvenience, loss, damage, injury or death
arising out of tour arrangements.
RESERVATIONS
AND PAYMENTS:
An
initial deposit of $100 per person is required to confirm a reservation.
Reservations
that include air transportation also require full payment of the air portion.
Some vendors require a larger deposit during peak or holiday times. No travel
services will be booked or confirmed without receipt of deposit.
Final
Payment is due 45 days prior to departure. For reservations made within 45 days
of travel, full payment is required at time of booking.
Majestic
Holidays Ltd. cannot guarantee any reservations not paid on time. In some
instances Majestic Holidays Ltd. is required to release rooms and or excursion
space back to the supplier when not paid on time. In these instances, Majestic
Holidays Ltd. will make every effort to reacquire space. In this instance, the
customer is required to pay any late booking fees incurred by Majestic Holidays
Ltd. plus a $25.00 re-booking fee.
CANCELLATION
POLICY:
All
cancellations must be received by Majestic Holidays Ltd. in writing.
Land
portion of trip:
The
initial deposit of $100 per reservation is non refundable if trip is cancelled
after receipt of our confirmation number, provided the reservation was initially
made 35 or more days prior to departure. Reservations made within 31 days of
travel are subject to the cancellation penalties outlined below.
Cancellations
received 45 or more days prior to departure will be assessed a per-person
penalty of $100.00 plus any non-refundable fees assessed by the travel
suppliers. Cancellations received between 45 and 30 days prior to departure will
be assessed a per-person penalty of $100 plus any non-refundable fees assessed
by the travel suppliers. Cancellations received 14 or fewer days prior to
departure will be assessed a per person penalty of $150 plus any non-refundable
fees assessed by the travel suppliers. No-Shows / no refund.
Air
portion of trip:
Airline
ticket refunds are based on the individual airlines cancellation policy. Most
airline tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
WE
WILL CONFIRM ALL CANCELLATIONS WITH A CANCELLATION NUMBER. This will ensure that
we have received your cancellation.
CHANGES:
Changes
made to existing reservations are subject to a $25.00 change fee plus any
fees charged by the travel supplier, if applicable. Any change made to an
airline ticket is subject to any and all airline charges regardless of the time
of change.
NO
REFUNDS FOR UNUSED SERVICES:
Refunds
or allowances will not be made for transportation, accommodations, excursions
services or other portions of the trip which are unused on or after the tour
departure date.
RESPONSIBILITIES
/ REFUND POLICY:
All
requests for refunds need to be addressed in writing to Majestic-Holidays within
45 days of completion of service and are subject to supplier approval.
Majestic-Holidays will not be responsible for refunds refused by the supplier. Although
Majestic-Holidays will do all possible to advise you of any closures or
renovations in the hotels, we can not be held responsible for failure by the
hotels to notify us, for cancellations of booked flights or any other careless
actions or omissions on the part of our supplier. Majestic Holidays and their
agents declare that they act exclusively as intermediaries between passengers
and suppliers, declining any responsibility for deficient services, accidents,
death, loss or damage of personal belongings, theft, delays, sickness,
mechanical problems, cancellations or other inconveniences that may emerge out
of our control.
PAYMENT:
All
reservations must be prepaid.
Payment
by Credit Card:
Majestic
Holidays accepts payment by credit card: Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
Majestic Holidays will forward a credit card authorization form by email, which
will need to be faxed back to our office so that an authorized signature for the
card is on file.
Payment
by US Dollar bank check:
Alternately,
Majestic Holidays does accept payment by US Dollar bank check drawn on a US
bank. Check should be mailed to: Majestic Holidays Ltd., P.O. Box N-1401,
Nassau, Bahamas.
For
last minute reservations, payment should be sent by Courier to our office
address. Majestic Holidays Ltd, Hillside Manor, Cumberland Street, Nassau,
Bahamas.
Payment
by Wire Transfer:
Payment
is accepted by bank wire transfer and should be sent as follows (all details
must be included!):

INSURANCE:
Passengers
are strongly advised to protect themselves with insurance. Optional
cancellation, accident, health and baggage insurance are available to protect
tour participants from unforeseen circumstances from your insurance company.
