Meet & Greet in Nassau, 6 nights accommodation in a beachside bungalow, airfare on Cat Island Air, Island Wings (private 5-passenger plan) and Pineapple or Southern Air, all taxes & house keeping gratuities.

Children ages 2-11 years pay $422.00 and children ages 12-16 years pay $662.00 for the package when sharing same room as parents.

*Due to minimum stay requirements at both properties this trip is not available between December 20th 2008 and January 03 2009. **Fuel surcharge may apply to the flight with Island Wings from Cat Island to Long Island.

FERNANDEZ BAY VILLAGE:

Very relaxing home away from home, with an honor system. The few guests become one big family. The private beach lends itself to long strolls and conversations.

15 beach front cottages, or houses, air-conditioned, with garden shower, coffee maker, fridge (no TV) terrace facing the ocean, indoor or outdoor dining, view the most stunning sunsets! Kayaks, snorkeling equipment complimentary. Other activities at a charge include bone fishing, deep sea fishing, bicycle or car rental. (Honor system throughout).

CAPE SANTA MARIA:

The best kept secret in The Bahamas! Intimate, deluxe un-spoiled beach resort. No TV or phones in the rooms to remind you of everyday life!

10 colonial style cottages with A/C, coffee maker, hair dryer and screened in patio. Use of ocean kayaks and bicycles are free. Activities available at a charge include: diving, snorkeling, reef-, deep sea and bone fishing, car rental, nature tours and island tours, but most of all you want to print your footsteps into this fine sandy beach!

APPROXIMATE ITINERARY:

Day 1:

Arrival in Nassau (by 1.00pm) and connecting flight to Cat Island.
(If there is no connecting flight out of Nassau, we will be happy to book the first night in a hotel in Nassau, we suggest an overnight at A Stone's Throw Away, which we can arrange at an extra charge).
3.00pm connecting flight on Cat Island Air to The Bight. 3.45pm arrival at The Bight Airport. Short taxi ride to Fernandez Bay Village. ($5.00 per person, payable locally). Three overnights in a beachfront cottage. Enjoy the serenity, tranquil bay, white sand beach and deep red sunsets as you gaze out over the water front the beach, with a cocktail you mixed yourself. Kayaking and snorkeling are some favorite activities. Boats and bicycles can be rented. After the sunset enjoy a delicious meal and play some old time board games or nurture the art of conversation.

Day 4:
Check-out and short transfer to the airport at a time to be advised during your stay at Fernandez Bay. Short 25 minute flight on a twin engine, 5 passenger plane to Stella Maris, Long Island (operated by Island Wings). Transfer to Cape Santa Maria (not included, approx. $25.00) and check in to a 1-bedroom beachside bungalow. The 2-mile long beach invites you to stroll along, swim in the calm bay, soak up the sun and listen to the waves rolling in on the beach. Rent a car to discover Long Island and the other Columbus Monument or the numerous blue holes. Divers and snorkelers will see a variety of sea life, reefs and corals, evenings are spent socializing with other guests under starry skies, in the TV room, library or fitness center. Bone fish guides are available to take you to the bone fish flats.

Day 7:
Check out and transfer to the airport (not included, $25.00). Depending on the day of the week there are morning or afternoon flights back to Nassau. You will need to all 2 1/2 hours before a connecting flight from Nassau to International Destinations. All flight times are subject to change and will be advised at the time of booking. 

Based on availability and flight schedule, the sequence of hotels could change.

Useful Information: 
If you depend on daily medication, please be sure to bring enough in your hand luggage to suffice for the entire stay, as you may not be able to fill your prescription in these islands. Banks are not readily available, so bring enough cash. Maximum luggage allowance is 44 pounds per person. We suggest clients take soft bags, rather than hard suitcases, travel light with casual clothing and take sun protection items.
Guests will receive a personal itinerary with a phone number of a representative in Nassau, which they can call during and after office hours in case of problems or emergencies.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellations received 45 days or more prior to arrival date will result in a $100.00/person administration fee. In addition,  cancellations received within 45 days of arrival or no shows, will result in a cancellation penalty determined by the hotels and airlines at time of cancellation.
