LOCATION:

This small, charming 12-room resort will become your home away from home, featuring 3 colorful, two-story colonially inspired cottages each with four rooms overlooking the ocean on the western side of Eleuthera and directly on the beach, facing the Caribbean Side of Eleuthera. Cocodimama is ideally suited for families, couples, singles, small groups, wedding parties, honeymooners, fly fishermen, food enthusiasts and boating enthusiasts and guests craving relaxation & quiet. Cocodimama is known for it's legendary sunsets, view from the beach, located 10-minutes outside of Governor's Harbour, Eleuthera.

RESORT FEATURES:

The Main House is colonial Bahamian style, next to the three colorful cottages and features a comfortable lobby, library, small boutique, bar, flat screen satellite TV, wireless internet, computer and printer available for guests use, cell phones for rent and phone cards available for purchase. A restaurant and terrace where tropical drinks are served while you enjoy the full ocean view. The dining area is decorated in Mediterranean style with handcrafted furnishings creating a relaxed and sophisticated ambiance.

ROOM FEATURES:

All guest rooms are beachfront with covered terrace and ocean view featuring a luxury king size bed or 2 luxury double beds with down comforters. Each room includes iPod compatible stereo, coffee maker, complimentary coffee, A/C, ceiling fan, hair dryer, wireless internet and beach towels.
Children 0 - 11 years are free of charge when sharing the same room as their parents, (maximum occupancy is 4).

RESTAURANT: The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor beach front dining. Enjoy breakfast lunch and dinner. Continental breakfast is included.
The resort's main Colonial-style building with handcrafted furniture and artifacts features a casual bar and award-winning Northern Italian restaurant serving homemade pastas, fresh fish, Bahamian specialties and home grown vegetables. The restaurant is complimented by an intimate bar and lounge, where you can sip a tropical cocktail, enjoy a cappuccino, select a book from the library, or simply marvel at Alabaster Bay;s crystal blue waters and breath taking sunsets.

The main activities are relaxing and beaching!
Guests enjoy free use of kayaks and snorkeling equipment. Try your luck at Bone fishing or deep sea fishing.

Sharing stories with new friends over a tropical drink, under a starry sky is the favorite activity for the mild summer evenings.
Friday night is the fish fry party in Governor's Harbour where Bahamians visitors alike meet to enjoy Bahamian Cuisine and live music.
Rent a car and explore different beaches of Eleuthera, Harbour Island, Spanish wells, Glass Window Bridge, Oceans Hole in Rock Sound, Preachers Cave in the north and the historic Haynes Library.

HELPFUL HINTS:

Bahamasair offers twice daily service from Nassau, and Southern Air offers service 3 times daily from Nassau. Private charters can be arranged costing approximately $550.00 for a 5-seater during regular flying hours. (9 a.m. to 5.00p.m.)
Governor's Harbour can also be reached three times weekly from Nassau on the Bahamas Fast Ferry, which provides a comfortable alternative to flying.

Airport taxi to the hotel is approx. $12.00 each way for 2 persons, payable locally.

Cancellations received within 15 days of arrival will result in a 2 nights cancellation fee.
