The Cove Eleuthera - Eleuthera
The Cove Eleuthera, just outside of Gregory Town, is a luxurious haven offering guests 22 garden view rooms, ocean view rooms and deluxe suites, a refreshing pool and poolside dining terrace, excellent gourmet food and two pristine private beaches affording breath taking views and sunsets. Step into the Bahamian-themed boutique, snorkel off the beach, trim down in the fitness center or participate in a planned 28-acre nature trail through the tropical landscape that encompasses the resort. The Cove has wireless Internet Access (WiFi) on the entire grounds of the resort, so you can surf the web from the beach. Available on this package is the garden or ocean view room.
Sammy T's Beach Resort - Cat Island
The entire concept of the wooden villas, with the lush landscaping, topped of by one of the most spectacular beaches in the Bahamas, are the architectural talents of the owner, Sammy T. Sammy T. traveled around the Bahamas for a year, collecting art pieces to decorate each villa completely different. These Bahamian art pieces also adorn the restaurant and the gift shop, featuring all Bahamian made items.
The private beach nestled within a cove. The lush landscaping, using mainly the natural vegetation, with the addition of popular Bahamian flowers. The peace & quiet, the food and the staff is what makes Sammy T's the place you are searching for. Our resort has the feeling of home, and we like to think that we have invited some friends over for a couple of days, just to relax and regenerate themselves.
YOUR APPROXIMATE TRAVEL ITINERARY:
Day 1:
- 12 noon or 4.00pm departure flight from Nassau to North Eleuthera.
- 12.40pm or 4.40pm Arrival in North Eleuthera. (If there is no connecting flight out of Nassau, we will be happy to book the first night in a hotel in Nassau.)
- 30-minute taxi transfer to The Cove Eleuthera (payable locally). Stay in this secluded and romantic hotel with its private beach and pool. Enjoy snorkeling, fine dining, the beautiful views, or explore the wonderful island of Eleuthera. This is the ideal location to relax and wind down.
Day 4:
- Transfer back to the airport.
- 12.50pm Departure from North Eleuthera Airport on Southern Air to Nassau.
- 1.05pm Arrival in Nassau. Connecting at 3.00pm to Cat Island and arriving in Cat Island at 3.45pm.
- Transfer by taxi (payable locally) from Arthur's Town Airport to Sammy T's. Enjoy the unspoiled setting around the hotel, and on the beautiful beach. Rent a car to explore this quiet island with its hidden treasures.
Day 7:
- 9.30am (or 4.00pm) Departure from Arthur's Town Airport, Cat Island to Nassau
- 10.15am (or 4.45pm) Arrival in Nassau.
- You will need 2 1/2 hours to connect to the USA, as you need to clear US Customs and Immigration here in Nassau. 2 hours is sufficient for a flight to Canada or Europe.
Airport Transfers:
The first airport is North Eleuthera. From there you would need to take a 25 minute taxi ride across the Glass Window Bridge to The Cove at a cost of $30.00 each way payable locally. Same transfer procedure on the return.
At the second airport, Arthur's Town, Cat Island, take any taxi to the hotel the transfer time is about 15 minutes and again is payable locally.
PAYMENT POLICY:
A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 per person is due at time of booking. Full prepayment is due 60 days prior to arrival.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations received up to 32 days prior to arrival date will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. In addition, cancellations received within 31 days of arrival or no shows, will result in a cancellation penalty determined by the hotels and airlines at time of cancellation. Please also refer to our terms & conditions.
NOTE:
Depending on room availability, it is possible, that you would first go to Cat Island and then to Eleuthera.
This trip is not available during the month of September and October, as both hotels are closed.
