LOCATION:
This charming island town offers all the services and amenities that a visitor

no tourist hoards. Back to a simpler time, when friends and neighbors greeted

RESORT FEATURES:
The Palm Bay Resort is a multi-phase resort development located on 300 acres
of prime real estate, on the beach, one mile outside of the George Town
Center.
Featuring 42 charming beachside cottages, and inland villas with exceptional
panoramic views, 2 swimming pools, modern conference facilities and fully
computerized business center (complete with reliable internet access) will
allow you to keep in touch with your business when necessary so that you can
truly relax and take advantage of the peace and serenity that our secluded
resort affords.
The picturesque full service restaurant overlooks the pool (heated in the
winter) and offers North American, European and Bahamian seafood specialties,
while the bar offers tropical island drinks. The pool bar is open daily from
12.00noon until approximately 11.00pm. Friday and Saturday evenings the hotel
arranges a barbecue and dance around the pool.
ROOM FEATURES:
Offering private beachfront cottages painted in fun Bahamian inspired colours,
the Palm Bay Beach Club is the perfect island get-away. Choose from studio,
one or two bedroom cottages with stunning ocean, garden or pool views.
All units are decorated in a casual Caribbean style and feature designer
furniture, king or queen size beds, kitchens, purified drinking water systems
(reverse osmosis), whisper-quiet air conditioning, ceraminc tile flooring,
fans, fully equipped kitchens with refrigerator, two-burner cook top stove,
microwave, toaster, coffee maker, purified drinking water system, private
covered porch, telephone/computer hook-up, Cable TV, iron/board, hairdryer,
king or queen size beds, and pull out couches in all 1 & 2-bedroom cottages.
The 2-bedroom has 1 1/2 bath. Studios can hold maximum 2 people. All others
can hold 3 or 4 people.
ACTIVITIES:
Whether you love to sail, fish, dive, snorkel or just enjoy the use of the
private beach, the Palm Bay Resort offers something for everyone. Sandy
beaches and the island's largest freshwater pool on site, sea kayaks, paddle
boats, rental hobie cats, spa facilities and massage services are available
for the exclusive use of the guests.
The crystal clear waters of Great Exuma are the perfect place for snorkeling,
diving, fishing or sailing adventures. Exuma is home to abundant marine life,
coral reefs and beautiful underwater gardens. The waters around this island
are a diver's paradise with breathtaking underwater sights including
underwater caves and grottos. With a boat or yacht you can find hundreds of
isolated islands and cays to visit.
Stocking Islandis located off the shore of George Town, Stocking Island
is a natural hurricane barrier that is 4 miles long and 4 miles wide. Offering
one of the finest white sand beaches in The Bahamas, Stocking Island is a
great day trip destination.

Air transportation to George Town is provided from Nassau daily by Bahamasair
and Sky Bahamas Airline and from Miami daily by American Eagle as well as by
Lynx Air International four times weekly from Fort Lauderdale.
