Andros
Dive the 3rd largest and one of the most unexplored barrier reefs in the world. We are blessed with an amazing diversity of dive sites within 15 minutes of the dock and dive shop. Andros has the world's highest concentration of Blue Holes. The Inland Blue Holes are specialty dives with one or two guests with one dive master. There are fantastic wall dives, caverns, coral gardens, wrecks and a shark dive.
Cat Island
The spectacular walls will impress even spoiled divers, starting at 45ft and dropping off to 3000ft. around Cat Island's South shore. Between the drop off and the barrier reef you will find wonderful coral heads in every form and color. Encounters with turtles, rays, sharks, moray eels, dolphins and all kinds of reef fishes are common every day in our crystal clear waters. Explore coral canyons and sandy valleys. Discover caves and tunnels teeming with thousands of species of fish.
Small Hope Bay Lodge
Located just outside of Fresh Creek, Andros, The Small Hope Bay Lodge is an informal property emphasizing a friendly home-like atmosphere, where bare feet and T-shirts are the norm. Catering mainly to divers and nature lovers guests will enjoy the simplicity of The Small Hope lifestyle and the warmth of the Androsian staff.
Greenwood Beach Resort
16 rooms featuring private bath, small patio and king sized bed, cooled by ocean breezes and ceiling fans. Located on a magnificent 8-mile long sand beach, where the only footsteps will be your own. Enjoy swinging hammocks, seaside dining, thatched roof beach tikis, kayaking, fishing, snorkeling, beach walking and scuba diving.

YOUR APPROXIMATE TRAVEL ITINERARY:
Day 1:
- 3.00pm latest check-in time for a 4.00pm flight to Andros Town Airport on Western Air.
- 4.15pm scheduled arrival at Andros Town Airport. Take a taxi to Small Hope Bay Lodge (approx. 15 minutes). Check-in. Familiarise yourself with the property, relax and enjoy your dinner with a view of the ocean.
Day 2:
- There are more than 60 dive sites on the regular Small Hope Bay Lodge schedule, including colorful shallow reefs, coral gardens, wreck dives, breathtaking blue holes and stunning wall dives at the edge of the continental shelf, where the Tongue of the Ocean plunges to 6,000 feet.
Day 3:
- Start your day with breakfast, and then head out to the dock for the two-tank morning dive - the first is a deeper dive, followed by another dive at a different location. Then, after lunch, there's a one-tank afternoon dive, usually to our beautiful reef. And, we're almost always the only dive boat at the site.
Day 4:
- Your dive may include a visit to the Great Blue Hole. Named the Great Blue Hole because of its size, this ocean blue hole is the second deepest blue hole in the Bahamas. While there are some cavernous sections to this blue hole, you don't need special equipment or lights, and the dive is not constrictive.
You'll be guided into the entrance of the blue hole at a depth of 40 feet (12 metres), where you'll descend down an ancient waterfall chute. Then you'll make your way along the rim of the blue hole, passing under an enormous swim-through called the sky light room, where giant boulders have wedged themselves along the rim. Look up through the openings in the limestone rock towards the sunlight penetrating the surface far above. You're inside a breathtaking geological phenomenon.
Day 5:
12.30pm flight with Performance Air back to Nassau and transfer back to the Domestic Section for your flight to Cat Island.
3.00pm Flight on Cat Island Air to The Bight Cat Island.
After arrival at The Bight Airport, take a taxi to the hotel. Approximate 30 minute ride (payable locally). Check-in. Enjoy your new environment this afternoon.
Day 6:
- A two tank dive is planned for you today. Cat Island's southern wall begins at 50 ft and drops vertically to depths of between 2,000 and 6,000 feet. Spectacular dives are only a short, comfortable boat ride away. Explore coral canyons and sandy valleys. Discover caves and tunnels teeming with thousands of species of fish.
Day 7:
- Just off the Greenwood beach are shallow reefs, ranging from 15 to 40 ft. Both new and experienced divers - and snorkellers - will enjoy the pure pleasure of beach diving at any time, day or night.
Day 8:
- Check-out according to your flight schedule. Taxi transfer back to The Bight Airport (not included). Flight to Nassau at 9.30am or 4.00pm.
- You will need 2 1/2 hours to connect to the USA, as you have to clear US customs and immigration in Nassau. For all other flights to Canada or Europe a 2 hour connecting time is sufficient.
PAYMENT POLICY:
A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 per person is due at time of booking. Full prepayment is due 45 days prior to arrival.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations received up to 32 days prior to arrival date will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. In addition, cancellations received within 31 days of arrival or no shows, will result in a cancellation penalty determined by the hotels and airlines at time of cancellation.
