LOCATION:

Perched high above the pinnacle of two beautiful beaches, The Cove Atlantis will offer stylish all-suite luxury accommodations with stunning panoramic ocean views from every suite. The resort soars 22 stories above a beautiful stretch of white sand beach offering guests the luxury of their own suite and the pleasures of an honored Atlantis guest. The open floor plan suites offer a luxurious sleeping area, expansive bath and a step down living space with a French or full balcony. All Suites have a king bed.

  • The Mosaic, an all-day dining restaurant features made-to-order culinary stations from sushi to churrasco. WHAT-TO-DO:

The revolutionary new waterscape promises the spectacle of adventure with four more breathtaking water slides within a 120 foot tall tower, a mile-long tidal wave river ride, an interactivie children's pool with slides, and a zero-entry pool overlooking Cove Beach.

AQUATOPIA

With imagination and innovation that is unique to Atlantis, an exhilarating new waterscape of pools, water slides and rivers will delivier a sensory journey unlike any other. The new waterscape will introduce the next generation of water experiences, making Atlantis the largest water-themed attraction in the Caribbean.

  • The Slide Tower: The grand masterpiece of Atlantis' new waterscape, will offer guests four adrenaline-inducing water slides using "master blaster" technology (jets of water used to propel riders up-and-downhill at a fast pace). At a towering 120 feet, this new awe-inspiring water slide station will be nearly twice as high as Atlantis' Mayan Temple.
  • The Abyss: Beginning with a staggering 50-foot near vertical drop, this thrilling 14-second, 200-foot-long body slide through waterfalls and in-and-out of the Tower's darkness ultimately ends in an underground lair of prehistoric alligator gars.
  • The Drop: Accessible from the river, this slide will allow guests to journey up the Tower while still in their innertubes via a water-propelling conveyor, to then spiral down through the Tower's dark center.
  • The Falls: Another innertube ride accessed via the upward-pushing conveyor, riders will drop 58 feet to ground level before being propelled up again through twisting tubes.
  • The Surge: Starting at the Tower's top level, this innertube ride will feature a camel back drop into a cavern, ending in a flash flood.
  • The Current: Is a mile-long river expedition with four-foot waves pushing innertube riders through a densely landscaped, tropical jungle of rapids, underground tunnels, tidal waves and tower slides. The complex 'tranportainment' system will allow riders to float along the river or join a queue for water slides without leaving their innertubes.
  • Climber's Rush: Is a new rock climbing wall covering the face of the tidal wave generator building, (pumping 10,000 gallons of water per minute through the waterscape) offers 11 different walls of varying skill levels.

DOLPHIN CAY

Dolphins are believed to be among the most intelligent of all animals. Playful, compassionate, and exceedingly adorable, these leaping acrobats, with a high capacity for learning are famous for their willingness to approach humans. In keeping with Atlantis' unwavering commitment to preserving marine life, the new Dolphin Cay will be among the world's largest and most advanced dolphin habitats.Dolphin Cay will provide wonderful opportunities to interact with these amazing mammals. Guests will:

  • Personally meet and connect with dolphins by either wading in shallow waterr, or swimming in deep water.
  • Enjoy comprehensive orientation and education focused on ocean conservation programs sponsored through the Kerzner Marine Foundation.

Atlantis is now home to the "Katrina Dolphins," reuniting the displaced animals in a beautiful new Bahamian home. Dolphin Cay will also serve as the best dolphin rescue/rehabilitation facility in The Bahamas with the newest medical and laboratory equipment.
