LOCATION:

Comfort Suites is a moderately priced property ideal for families and couples on a budget located in the middle of Paradise Island, 5 walking minutes from the ferry to Nassau and three walking minutes to the mile long beach. Across the road to one side is the Paradise Island shopping centre and on the otheris the Atlantis Resort and Casino, and the Marina Village at Atlantis. Guests staying at Comfort Suites have full use of the facilities at the 34-acre ATLANTIS RESORT.

HOTEL AMENITIES:

The hotel includes a pool, swim-up bar, indoor/outdoor garden restaurant and surrounding sundeck in a garden court yard for breakfast and lunch, and a guest laundry.

Guests of Comfort Suites Paradise Island have full use of all the ATLANTIS RESORT facilities including magnificent waterscapes, Lazy River Ride, waterslides and lagoons, beautiful beach, use of chaise lounge at pool or beach, health spa, Discovery Channel Camp for children and signing privileges in all their restaurants and lounges.

Each of the 228 1-bedroom junior suites spread out over two pink buildings of up to four floors, feature: one king bed or two double beds. Separate sitting area set off by arch with double sofa bed along with coffee table, desk/chair, upholstered reading chair. Wet bar with sink, compact refrigerator, coffee/tea maker. Small bathroom with tub/shower. Outside single-sink vanity.

Ground-floor rooms have patios. Upper-floor rooms include French balconies that consist of sliding-glass doors and wrought-iron railings, but no step-out space.

Breakfast is served daily at Crusoe's Restaurant, Poolside from 8:00a.m. - 10:30a.m. or in the breakfast room of the hotel's new wing from 7:00a.m. - 10:00a.m.

Crusoe's Bar is open daily from 10:00a.m. - 10:00p.m. and Happy Hour is from 5:00p.m. - 6:00p.m.

Some of the Property Amenities at the ATLANTIS RESORT include:

• The 11,500-square-foot Asian-theme Mandara Spa with unisex rain shower, steam room, and sauna; men's and women's relaxation lounges; and a 30-foot-diameter heated, jetted, saltwater Thalassotherapy pool. Hair and nail care and waxing are offered in addition to massage, body treatments, and facials. (Massage is also available in the Thalassotherapy pavilion.)
• A 9,000-square-foot fitness centre (fee) with cardio equipment, weight-training machines, free weights, steam rooms, and classes such as aerobics, yoga, Pilates, and kickboxing as well as personal trainers.
• A 24-hour, 50,000-square-foot casino featuring a race-and-sports book, table games (baccarat, roulette, craps, blackjack, and Caribbean poker), and slot and video-poker machines. Opening into the casino is Dragons Nightclub, which provides nightly live dance music.
• Discovery Channel Camp™, offering half-day, full-day, and night sessions (fees charged) for children age 4-12. Facilities consist of a grotto room furnished with a "shipwreck" and a "beach" for finding buried treasure with kid-size metal detectors; a science lab housing snakes, hamsters, fish, and birds and equipped with sharks' jawbones, microscopes for analysing discoveries during field trips, and telescopes for stargazing at night; and a technology providing educational computer programs, Web-site-creation lessons, and digital cameras for field trips.
• Club Rush (cover charge) for teens age 13-17, comprising of a front room equipped with computer games and Internet-access computers and showing DVD movies, and a back room offering a dance floor and DJ music. Supervision is continuous. (Pre-teens age 7-12 have use of the club late in the afternoon.)
• Five waterslides are built into the six-story Mayan Temple. Chief among them is The Leap of Faith, a 60-foot, nearly vertical plunge that ends by carrying daredevils through a clear acrylic tunnel submerged in a shark-filled lagoon. Also popular is a 48-foot corkscrew slide transporting tube riders through the temple's dark core. Shorter, gentler children's slides connect the temple's many cascading pools.
• Eleven lagoons (lighted at night) constituting the world's largest tropical marine habitat that are home to 50,000 fish and sea creatures visible day and night from above and underwater. Also available are many specialized exhibits, including turtles, seahorses, jellyfish, lobsters, crabs, lionfish, piranhas, and 6-foot moray eels. Children enjoy a touch-tank filled with exotic creatures.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Each guest checking in, is required to leave either a credit card imprint, a passport, or a $50.00 per person cash deposit for incidentals. Any unused portion of the cash deposit will refunded upon checkout.
• Safe rental is $2.00/day, $10.00/week and $75.00 deposit is required. The deposit is refundable once the lock and key are returned.
• The hotel accepts American Express, Discover, Visa/MasterCard and Diners credit cards.
• Check-in time is 3.00p.m. And check-out is 11.00a.m.
