Compass Point Hotel is a unique, colourful boutique property located on 1.5 acres of oceanfront real estate approximately 4 miles west of Cable Beach, 10 miles from Downtown Nassau and just a short 8-minute drive from Nassau International Airport.

RESORT FEATURES:

Compass Point is a collection of 18 octagonal huts and cottages on Love Beach all handcrafted and painted with the colours of the Bahamian carnival, Junkanoo: blue, green, pink, peach and yellow.Compass Point has a very small private beach, but is next to a longer natural beach, which guests are welcome to enjoy and which is easily accessible, through a series of steps located at the western end of the property.

The resort features an Oceanside restaurant and bar, a reception with a library of DVD's, a gift shop and small fresh water pool and one large Jacuzzi. The restaurant serves Californian-Caribbean cuisine. Full breakfast is served from 7:30a.m. - 11:30a.m. Lunch is available from 12p.m. to 3p.m. Dinner is served from 6:30p.m. to 10p.m. A bar (snack) menu is available from 10a.m. until late night.

ROOM FEATURES:

All units feature elegant dark wood furnishing, androsia fabrics, coffee makers, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, hair dryer, iron/board, cable flat screen TV, stereo, DVD-players, safe, ceiling fan, air-conditioning and private bathroom/shower. The huts have a king or queen sized bed.

Sea View Hut:
The cabana is the only air-conditioned unit at Compass Point and features a queen size bed and full bathrooms. Amenities include: mini bar stocked with beer, wine, water, soda and champagne, DVD player and cable flat screen TV/VCR, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, in-room safe, bathrobe and coffee maker.

Sea Front Hut:
The octagonal seafront hut sits on the ground level and is located at the ocean's edge with a balcony facing the sea. It has a king-size bed and a full bathroom. Amenities include: stocked mini bar, DVD player and flat screen cable TV/VCR, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, a safe, bathrobes and coffee maker. Built on stilts the elevated Sea View/Front Hut includes the same amenities as the regular huts.

WHAT-TO-DO:

• During the day there is hourly public bus service into Town. The reception can provide you with an approximate schedule.
• Water sports available at extra cost include: water skiing, snorkelling, scuba diving, kayaking, knee-boarding and banana boat rides.

HELPFUL HINTS:

This resort has been newly renovated from top to bottom following a change-over in management. Expect the same property you have come to love with a host of new upgrades and improvements designed to make your stay even more pleasureable. Some of the new features include, air-conditioning throughout all room categories, flat screen TV's, surround-sound speaker system in the rooms, new beds and furniture throughout, completely remodeled room interiors with bath/shower combo.
