The Patio Grill And Pool Bar

The amazing view of Nassau Harbour and Paradise Island provides the ideal backdrop for a leisurely day in the sun. The Patio Grill and Pool Bar offer outdoor dining, with Bahamian and American-style snacks and tropical cocktails. Whether you're sampling one of our many tropical concoctions or diving into a tantalizing sandwich there couldn't be a better place to be. The amazing view of Nassau Harbor and Paradise Island provide the ideal backdrop for a leisurely day in the sun. Open 7 days a week from 11:00am - 5.00pm

Portofino's

This fun, casual restaurant located on the first floor, serves Italian favorites with a Caribbean flare. At breakfast and lunch, choose from our à la carte menu or browse the extensive array of local and Italian specialties displayed on the buffets of Executive Chef Neil Mather. At dinner while seated at a window overlooking the garden, enjoy the excellent service, flavor and presentation of your choice from our à la carte menu. Breakfast is served from 6:30am - 11:00am, lunch from 12:00noon - 3:00pm, dinner from 6:00pm - 10:30pm.

Additionally there are 3 bar/lounges; Blackbeard's Cove Lobby Bar open from 4:00pm - 12:00 midnight, the Palm Court Lounge and The Blue Note Jazz Club. Guests can enjoy 24-hour room service.

Other facilities are fresh water swimming pool, private beach and over 7,500 sq. ft. of state-of-the art function space, including The Victorian Banquet Room and Atrium with ocean and garden views.
With 3,900 sq. ft. and a capacity of 300 people, the spacious Governor's Ballroom is an ideal venue for conventions, banquets and meetings with the flexibility of dividing the space into 3 rooms of 1,300 sq. ft. each, connecting through its foyer area all complimented by modern equipment and a Business Centre.

ROOM FEATURES:

The hotel has 291 exquisite rooms, many with ocean views, including 21 Executive and Junior suites. Each room features an oversized desk, telephone with Voice Mail and Dataport, AC, satellite TV, mini bar, radio, iron & ironing board, alarm clock, coffee & tea maker, in -room safe, fire alarm system, hair dryer and voice mail. Facilities for disabled guests are available. The rooms have either King size, Queen size or two Single beds, with the ocean view rooms all having king or queen beds, with the exception of approximately 4 rooms.

Guest Rooms: Floors 1-5: Feature the Deluxe City View Rooms & the Deluxe Ocean View Rooms. Tastefully decorated in Caribbean style furnishings, either overlooking the turquoise blue waters or with views of the island. All rooms have a bath and shower, either King size, Queen size or two Single beds, with a minibar, oversized desk and electronice safe.
Suites: Floors 1-7: Have beautiful ocean views or interesting island views, there are one bedroom suites with a connecting parlour or two bedrooms suites with a King Size bed and sofa bed in the parlour. WHAT-TO-DO:

The British Colonial Hilton is ideally situated in the heart of Downtown Nassau's shopping district, near Prince George Wharf where large cruise ships dock.
Twice a year Junkanoo takes places on Bay Street, a beautiful local parade with colorful costumes, music and crowds of avid followers. The British Colonial Hilton is the ideal starting point from which to view this spectacle.
Guests at the British Colonial are steps away from the Pirate's Museum, and Pirate's Bar, Señor Frogs, The Hard Rock Café all local favourites on Fridays and Saturdays, and a 10 minutes walk away from the Fish Fry near Arawak Cay, where they can enjoy local specialties, particularly conch dishes in a "Down Home" atmosphere.

The British Colonial Hilton has a fresh water swimming pool overlooking the harbour, and a small beach for swimming.

The transfer time from Nassau International Airport to the British Colonial Hilton is approximately 20 minutes. During peak hours the transfer time can be slightly longer.
