LOCATION:Stella Maris Resort is situated along a hilly east-coast ridge near the northern end of Long Island. Many of the resorts 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom units are built along a rocky cliff surrounded by natural vegetation with a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean.
ROOM AMENITIES:
The hotel's 47 units are scattered throughout a large garden estate. The standard rooms and 1 - bedroom cottages are located on the hill near the club-house and restaurant. Meal plan (Breakfast and Dinner) is $58.00 per person, including 15% gratuity. (subject to change)
Standard Rooms: The standard hotel rooms have individual A/C, ceiling fan, small refrigerator, hair dryer, 1 single & 1 double bed, some with king bed with patio or balcony with oceanview.
1-Bedroom Cottage: 1-bedroom/1-bath 1-bedroom/living room cottages each unit with individual A/C in bedroom, ceiling fans, small refrigerator, hair dryer, coffee maker, some with king, some with 2-double beds, ocean view cottages are clustered around a swimming pool.
Ocean Villas 2-bedroom / 2 bath: On the Atlantic Coast with upper living room and open kitchen. Very large front & rear balcony. Lower sleeping rooms, each with a/c, bath and patio. Small beach and protected nature pool. 10-minute walk to club house. Comes with full time use of rental car (gasoline included, mileage charged at $0.30 per mile up to 75-miles, $0.25 thereafter)
2-bedroom bungalows: (as above however without the car)
The 3 and 4-bedroom bungalows (some with private pools) are between 100 and 300 yards from the clubhouse and are located right along the Oceanside.
RESORT AMENITIES:
The resort has three large fresh water pools and one 18' deep saltwater pool for Scuba instructions. There are six beaches at various distances from the hotel. The resort features a lounge bar, dining room with garden dining terrace (vegetarian/children's and dietary menus available) Marina bar, recreation/video room, bicycles, small sail boat at Deal's Beach, scuba diving, snorkeling, bone and deep sea fishing, tennis, car and plane rental.

DIVING:
Stella Maris has long gained a reputation of offering some of the best dives in the Bahamas, and is especially renowned for their "Shark Reef" dive.Their full service dive operation offers a choice of 3 boats to accommodate different groups of divers, and their staff is well trained and can offer PADI & SSI diving courses for beginners and open water divers.
Divers may rent regulators at $10.00 per day, BCD's $12.50 per day. (subject to change) Daily Dive rate is $100.00 per day (2-3 dives) per person. Night Dives are $65.00 and Resort Course $135.00. (subject to change)

FISHING:
Long Island, offers great deep sea, reef and bone fishing opportunities, and Stella Maris marina has a fleet of vessels to choose from to fit everyone's lifestyle.
BONE FISHING: Full day is $400.00. for 1 or 2 persons maximum per boat with a guide, incl. Box lunch and transportation to/from the Marina.Penn Graphite Rods & Penn Spin Casting, fly-fishing & Lamson Reels are available along with superb local guides who will have you fighting these fish in no time.
HELPFUL INFORMATION:
MEALS: The Dining room is open for breakfast lunch and dinner and meal plans are suggested. Mealplans are available.

AIR TRANSPORTATION: Between Nassau and Stella Maris airport can be provided by the hotels own private plane or Bahamasair which has a daily flight. Guests using Stella Maris' Flight Service check-in at the Executive Flight Support Center, a short taxi ride from Nassau International's Arrival Section. Guests are encouraged to pack lightly and to avoid using oversized suitcases or pieces of luggage which may not fit inside of the plane's cargo area.
