Baggage Information and General Policy - International Bags: 2 bags per passenger 70 lbs (33kg) per bag.
- Passengers that are connecting to the Out Islands or staying less than 24 hrs in Nassau or Freeport are still considered International, thus are allowed the international baggage allowance.
- Domestic Bags: Passengers that stay more than 24 hrs then take a domestic flight are only allowed 2 bags at 44 lbs. per bag.
- Excess bag more than the allowed 2 pieces: $85.00 each
- Oversize pieces greater than 63 ": $100.00 each
- Overweight pieces greater than 71 lbs. (33 kgs.): $100.00 each
- Oversize and overweight pieces: $125.00 each
- For divers, if they are bringing tanks they must remove the stem and the charge would be $25.00 per tank.
Reservation Policy: - Reservations can be held up to 22 days prior to departure and can be changed or cancelled without penalty.
- Once issued, V class E-tickets are non-refundable, non-endorsable and non-transferable. Changes to ticketed itinerary or passenger name is subject to a $60.00 penalty per ticket.
- Ticketed passengers traveling with infants under 2 years of age are only responsible for applicable taxes of $10.10 payable at check in counter. For domestic flights there is no charge for infants.
- Bahamasair Europe is not responsible for missed connections with other airlines. Please allow a minimum of two hours for international connections and 90-minutes for domestic.
