SPANISH WELLS is a small commercial fishing community, located off the island of North Eleuthera and is considered the fishing capital of the Bahamas with the main catch being the lobster. Various size fishing boats line the waterfront at the entrance of the harbour. Spanish Wells natives are hard working and industrious people. A local Museum, various churches, the beaches and a few shops are the main points of interest on the island.
