LOCATION:Unique Village is located 20 minutes south of Governor's Harbour Airport, Eleuthera, outside of North Palmetto Point, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean,secluded on a bluff and just a few driving minutes from the town of Governor's Harbour.
ROOM AMENITIES:
All rooms have private bath, air-condition, ceiling fans, coffee pots & satellite TV, balcony with table & 2 chairs, overlooking the ocean.
Superior rooms are on the ground floor with 2 dbl beds.
Deluxe rooms are upstairs with 2 double beds.
The Mini Suites have a king size bed and are on the ground floor.
The 1-bedroom Apartments have 1 queen bed, living/dining room and full kitchen.
The 2-bedroom/2 baths Apartments have masterbedroom with king bed and the second bedroom has 2 double beds, living/dining room with ocean view and full kitchen. (sleeps four persons).
RESORT AMENITIES:
Restaurant with ocean view, lounge, bar, fresh water swimming pool, hammocks.Sun umbreallas & snorkeling equipment are free. A set of wooden steps lead you down to the untouched mile long beach.
HELPFUL INFORMATION:
AIRPORT TRANSFERS: Taxi ride from The Fast Fery dock to Unique Village will cost approx. $20.00 each way and from Governor's Harbour Airport approx. $30.00.
The Bo Hengy Fast Ferry departs Nassau every Friday evening at 7.00pm and arrives in Governor's Harbour at 9.00pm.
On Sunday the Bo Hengy departs Governor's Harbour at 7.00pm, arriving Nassau at 9.00pm.
The Sea Wind departs Nassau on Tuesdays at 7.00am, arriving at the Governor'sHarbour ferry dock at 11.0am.
The ferry will return on Thursdays, departing Governor's Harbour at 2.00pm, arriving in Nassau at 6.00pm. The Sea Wind can accommodate your car! (Additional cost will apply)
EMERGENCIES: Should you have a medical emergency please call the front desk who will assist you in locating the nurse in Governor's Harbour.
MEDICATION: Should you depend on daily medication we suggest that you takesufficient medication with you from home (in your hand luggage), as yourparticular prescription may not be available on this remote islands.
MONEY: Some local establishements take credit cards, however we suggest that you take US cash (acceptable everywhere) or Traveler's checks.
WHAT TO DO:
Beach combing, snorkeling, fishing, sight seeing (rent a car and visit Preachers Cave, the glass window bridge, historical sites, surfers beach, secluded beaches, pineapple plantation).
CANCELLATION POLICY:
In the summer/fall season, if cancelled within 8 days of arrival date a 2 nt penalty applies. In the winter season, if cancelled within 15 days of arrival, there will be no refund.
