Governor's Harbour is a pretty town of timber houses set on the curve of
Cupid's Bay and Rock Sound to the south of the island. It's the largest town
on Eleuthera dotted with picturesque, but faded gingerbread houses. Not far
off is one of Eleuthera's famous `Blue Holes', an inland lake connected to the
ocean deep underwater. Bone Fishing is great in this shallow water harbor.
The Glass Window Bridge, (about a 15 minute drive away) which spans a gap in
which the turbulent waters of the Atlantic meet the calmer seas of the Exuma
Sound on the island's leeward side. The existing man-made structure has
replaced a naturally formed bridge that was blown away in a hurricane.
