Five modern one- and two-bedroom cottages sit on a 1-mile stretch of white-sand beach between Landrail Point and Pittstown Point Landings. Each has a full kitchen, satellite TV, and western-facing decks. A local market, gas station, and restaurant are 1/2 mile away in Landrail Point, or you can eat at Pittstown Point. The management can also arrange meals in your cottage with advance notice. A rental car, fishing guide, or diving excursion can also be set up.

LOCATION:Casuarina Villas is located approximately 1/2 mile outside of the settlementof Landrail Point on the Northwestern side of Crooked Island, approximately 25 minutes from Colonel Hill Airport. This western facing property enjoys unobstructed beach access and full ocean views.

ROOM FEATURES:
We are an island resort, featuring five individual one and two bedroom villas. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, DirectTv satellite system, refrigerator, coffee maker, small cooking facilities, sitting area in the 1-bedroom and full living room/kitchen in the 2-bedroom units, daily maid service and towel service.
ACTIVITIES:
At your doorstep is the ocean, wonderful for snorkelling and shelling. In Landrail Point the nearest settlement which is a short 1/2 mile stroll from Casuarina Villas the wonderful Gibson & Scavella families will be more than happy to arrange the following:
- Boat charter for a full or half day picnic cruise or hand-line fishing, deep-sea fishing, spear fishing or exploring.
- Local knowledgeable guides can offer assistance to bone-fishing enthusiasts interested in exploring the flats around Crooked Island and Acklins.
- Car rental is available
- Diving can be arranged for those who have their own equipment. Tanks and weights are available.
HELPFUL HINTS:
- The Gibson family operates two restaurants and a Lunch room in Landrail Point, when you arrive at Casuarina Villas it is highly suggested that you visit Marina, Willamena and Marsha Gibson to introduce yourself. The rest of your stay can be taken care of from there, as these wonderful ladies prepare breakfast, lunch (picnic) or full lunch and dinner and can put it on your tab which can be settled when you leave! They also know exactly who to talk to should you wish to organize any activities.
- Meals are made to order based on a set menu which is dependent on the days catch or what's in stock.
- The community of Landrail Point is mostly Seventy Day Adventists. This means that from Sundown on Friday until Sundown on Saturday the community does not offer its regular services, the food stores will be closed, boat rentals will not be available etc. However meals will be organized for you in spite of this.
- Landrail Point because of its religion is "non-alcholic"! You cannot purchase alcohol in town or in the restaurants. If you cannot do without a visit to nearby Pittstown Landing will certainly be able to satisfy your thirst.
- There is limited use of credit cards in Crooked Island. Please bring cash for everything, it will make your life easier!
- Please bring ample supplies of medication and anything you cannot live without. Crooked Island is dependent upon the mailboat delivery which comes once per week. Fresh vegetables are not readily available because of this, so if planing a trip please take this into consideration.
