Sammy T's Charming Resort is a new intimate resort on picturesque Cat Island. Steeped in local charm Sammy T's awaits the adventurous traveler searching for a cozy getaway in beautiful secluded surroundings. Located near Bennett's Harbour on the western coast of Cat Island on a private beach with surrounding cove Sammy T's is only a short 45-minute flight from Nassau or 1 ½ hours from Fort Lauderdale in Florida.

Breakfast: Our breakfast menu features mouth watering Bahamian cuisine. Or try our egg & cheese, omelets, with all the trimmings topped with fresh fruits and juices.
Lunch: After your morning trek around the island curb your appetite with delicious grilled conch, fish or burgers. Try our fresh salads topped with Sammy T's secret dressing.
Appetizers: Mouth watering conch fritters, conch chowder.
Dinner: At the end of the day choose from our selection of Bahamian dishes including lobsters, grouper, or conch served with crab and rice or pigeon peas and rice. Or try our international menu.
Bar: Opens 10am - 10pm. Try our special Bahamian drinks and the world famous Kalik beer along with a full selection of wines and spirits. Special champagne available upon request.

ROOM FEATURES:

We are an island resort, featuring six individual one and two bedroom villas. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, DVD library along with full bedroom and living room furnishings and a kitchenette with a microwave, refridgerator and coffee maker. In addition all units also feature hair dryers, iron & ironing board.

The 1-bedroom Units have a queen bed, and can accommodate up to 3 persons, with a rollaway bed (free).
The 2-bedroom Units can accommodate 5 adults or 4 adults and 2 children. Each bedroom has a queen bed and in the living room is a sofa bed. Extra persons in room and children are free.

ACTIVITIES:

Sammy T's offers a varied and entertaining schedule of sporting and leisure activities. You decide if you would like to be active on your vacation or simply relax by the pool, we have it all here. Our Guest Services staff will be happy to assist you with information on any of the activities requested.

Explore this mystical island's rolling hills featuring the highest elevation in The Bahamas. Climb to the top of Mt. Alvernia and explore the scaled replica of a 12th century monastery built by Father Jerome called The Hermitage. Enjoy the impressive view of the surroundings and ocean. Explore the Deveaux Mansion the impressive ruins of an old plantation home.

HELPFUL HINTS:

The resort is closed during the month of SEPTEMBER
Guests arriving into Sammy T's should attempt to book their flights into Arthur's Town Airport (ATC), as this is the northern most airport on Cat Island. Alternatively The Bight Airport (TBI), can be chosen, however, guests should note that the taxi fare to the resort will be significantly higher.
Taxi fare from Arthur's Town Airport is approximately $30.00 each way and $60.00 each way from The Bight Airport.
