TREASURE CAY
Originally named Sand Banks Cay and renamed Treasure Cay as a marketing tool,
Treasure Cay is not a cay as such, but rather a peninsula connected to the
mainland of Abaco. This sprawling resort town began as a large scale
real-estate development featuring all the amenities of a capital city,
possessing its own marina, hotel, beach, golf-course and airstrip, and this
continues to attract many interested second home owners and winter residents,
as well as tourists, who come to Treasure Cay to enjoy, what National
Geographic has described one of the 10 best beaches in The Caribbean.
The resort community of Treasure Cay, features 3-main hotel properties and a
wide selection of rental homes. The main hub of activity in Treasure Cay is
focused around the Treasure Cay Hotel, Resort & Marina, which features a fresh
