Located in Matthew Town approximately 3/4 mile from the the airport and less
than 1/2 mile from the seaport and beach, Enrica's Inn is a comfortable
starting point for your Inagua adventures.

ACTIVITIES:
Wildlife: Great Inagua unlike any other Bahamian island is a naturalist
paradise where rare birds, reptiles, and wild animals thrive in the thousands.
The largest flock of flamingoes in the Western Hemisphere (30,000 flamingoes)
resides on Great Inagua in Lake Windsor, the biggest lake in the Bahamas.
You can also find the White Crowned Pigeon, the Bahama Parrot, Pelicans,
Roseate, Spoonbills, Blue Herons, West Indian Tree Ducks, Humming Birds, the
Reddish Egret, the Green, Loggerhead and Hawksbill Turtle. To arrange a tour

Beaches: There are many secluded beaches on the island of Great Inagua,
particularly on the eastern and southern shores. Some of which are protected
by long barrier reefs. Two small beaches are located in the heart of Mathew
Town and several superb beaches are at Northwest Point.

Fishing: Fishing is one of the many great activities that you can
enjoy. There is a variety of fish in the waters surrounding the Inagua Islands
as well as conchs, crawfish and other sea life.
Snorkeling: Snorkelers can enjoy breath-taking views of coral
formation, colourful fish, Grouper, manta, eagle rays and the occasional
passing whale.
HELPFUL HINTS:
- Guests arriving into Inagua have a choice of 3 flights per week offered by
Bahamasair. Flights operate Monday / Wednesday and Fridays.
- Dining:Enrica's will assist you in arranging your meals, or you may
take advantage of the common kitchen to prepare your own meals. You have
several options among the island's Popular Restaurants such as: Last Stop,
Cozy Corner, Crystal Ruins, Hide out Café, The Super D Club, Navaro's
Take Out, Theresa's Pop Shop and Gardens Deli Delight.
Immediately across the road from Enrica's Inn is a small convenience
store, where water, sodas, juices & snacks can be purchased. Next door to this
is Champs Chicken, where you can purchase take-out Fried Chicken meals.
Restaurants & shops are closed on Sundays!
- From Thursday to Saturday Matthew Town's waterfront comes alive with
evening barbecues. Locals and visitors alike enjoy Jerk Chicken, ribs & pork
as well as cool beers & drinks. During November & December this is also the
spot to enjoy Junkanoo practice.
