Activities in Harbour Island: After you have fully taken in the stunning beauty of the pink beach, went for a refreshing swim in the turqoise water of the Atlantic ocean, you can rent a golf cart to discover the entire, small island, find the local restaurants, bars and boutiques, catch a bone fish, go diving or snorkeling, and watch the goings on at the government dock.

HOW TO GET THERE:

Harbour Island is serviced by the North Eleuthera Airport, Bahamas (Airport Code: ELH), which is two miles away by water. You can fly directly to North Eleuthrera from Miami, Fort Lauderdale or Nassau by frequent air commuter and charter services and as well by a "Fast Ferry" from Nassau, which departs once daily. From North Eleuthera's Three Island Dock a quick water taxi will take you to the government dock on Harbour Island.

HELPFUL HINTS:

• In the evening choose one of the fine gourmet restaurants on the island and follow the sun, as she immerses into the blue ocean, painting the sky with yellow, orange and red.
• The Royal Palm Hotel offers rental Golf cart facilities directly on property for your convenience.
• Valentine's Yacht Club & Dive Shop are located immediately next door to the resort, and guests are welcome to sign up for diving or snorkeling excursions there or enjoy the beautiful setting for a drink and gourmet dining.
