RESORT DESCRIPTION:

Established in 2004, Chester's Highway Inn Bone Fish Lodge consists of four units on a half acre with another 1.5 acres under development. The remoteness of the area and its setting next to some of the best bonefishing grounds anywhere in The Bahamas make this property the ideal location for avid bonefishermen and guests searching for total relaxation.

ROOM DESCRIPTION:

Air-conditioned rooms are furnished and comfortably sleep four people, while each suite comes with a living/dining area, a microwave, fully stocked refrigerator, ice bucket, snacks, table and chairs for two, rocker sleep sofa, queen sleep sofa bed and TV/DVD. Bedrooms include two standard double beds, alarm clock, lamp, bureau/mirror and two night-stands. Bathrooms have a bathtub/shower combo and include a hairdryer. Internet access.

HOTEL AMENITIES:

Room service is available, but meals also are served at the restaurant and conference area and on the patio. One of the specialties is Julius' homemade coconut and raisin bread and Arnette's seafood gumbo, smothered grouper, crawfish salad and conch salad.

BONE FISHING is the top priority for most guests, and with the flats just 50 feet from the front door of each lodge, it's easy to grab your pole and begin wading in to try to snag one of these elusive bonefish. Those who want to fish around nearby cays or coves-Bird Cay, Nancy Cove and Long Cay are popular-must go out with one of the guides. Full day of bone fishing for 2 persons with a boxed lunch is $400.00. Additional person is $75.00, includes transfer to the landing. Gratuity for the guide is at your discrection.
But it's not about fish all day. Bird watching and cycling also are popular. And, guests may select to go deep-sea fishing. This remote lodge is on Acklins Island, home of the "Casrilla Bark," from which the liquor Campari drink is made.

Because Chester's provide a remote location, it's also a perfect site for a wedding or honeymoon. Julius will drop you to a gorgeous secluded BEACH for the day, OWN YOUR OWN PRIVATE BEACH TODAY.
