The 34 unit Romora Bay Club overlooks the protected bay side of Harbour Island a quaint little island off of Eleuthera. This charming colonial style town has long been a tourist favourite attracting many famous celebrities to its wonderful beach. The Romora Bay Club is an attractive property about a 5 minutes walk from the famous 3-mile long pink sand beach offering spectacular views of the sunset and Eleuthera Island in the distance.

HOTEL FACILITIES & SERVICES:

This resort is spread out on over four acres, all sloping gently toward the beautiful bay side of Harbour Island, offering a tennis court, workout room, 2 full service restaurants with 2 full bars. There is also a cozy pool area directly on the waterfront with luxurious cabanas for you to relax in and enjoy lunch, cocktails, or the wonderful view. Take a dip in the infinity edge, heated swimming pool, located near the sunset by the Bay bar.

DINING:

Dining is special here at Romora Bay . We offer some of the finest cuisine on the island in our upscale dining area located on our terrace. The Chef specializes in the "Nouvelle cuisine" subtlety, a creative yet familiar cuisine based on homemade soups, sauces, pastries, ice creams, sorbets, Certified Angus beef, fresh fish and shellfish, and organic greens and vegetables. Dinner at Romora Bay is an experience not to miss.

Rather new to Romora Bay is the Sunset Bar & Grill on the bay, the casual waterfront dining experience. At Sunsets, you can choose from grilled lobster and steaks, fresh gourmet salads and sandwiches, and local specialties such as conch chowder and fritters, and group fingers.

WHAT TO DO:

Harbour Island has a variety of activities for your enjoyment. Number 1 of course is the famous 3-mile long Pink Sand beach, which is only 5 minutes away on foot. There you can boogie board, sun bathe, snorkel along a very large barrier reef (not for beginners), ride a horse or simply walk for miles.

On the harbour activities can be arranged such as water-skiing, fishing of all sorts, snorkeling, diving, and kayaking. Two Dive centers are currently located on Harbour Island. Ocean Fox Diving and Valentine's Dive Center, both offering a variety of excellent and exciting dives in the area around Harbour Island and North Eleuthera / Current Island.

GETTING THERE:

There are direct flights from Nassau and various cities in the U.S. to North Eleuthera Airport. From North Eleuthera guests would need to take a taxi from the Airport Terminal to the 3-Islands Dock. Just ask for Harbour Island. The current fare is $5.00/person each way. From the ferry dock, individual operators will take you over to Harbour Island on their ferries. The fare currently is $6.00/person when you request that the ferry captain takes you directly to the hotel's private dock.
Another convenient possibility is the Bahamas Fast Ferry that leaves daily from Potter's Cay Dock in Nassau and brings you directly to the government dock in Harbour Island. The boat departs Nassau daily at 8.00am.
